Kimage Prestige at Marina Square

Last Friday (22 Jan 16), I went to Kimage Prestige for a hair makeover as it's going to be Chinese New Year soon. Scarlett is my hair stylist whom had been looking after my hair for the past 6 years or more. I had very fine and thin hair which many stylist does not know how to handle it. Scarlett is very knowledgeable and able to handle my hair texture.

To be frank, I had been hesitating whether to go back to Kimage or try another hair salon.

I alway wanted to do C Curl, but my hair texture was too weak and Scarlett does not recommend me to do it to worse the condition. Finally this time round she allow me to do so. Hurray!!!

I spend about 5 hours in the salon. Rebonding, C curl, colouring and treatment. I'm so lucky this time round as Scarlett can focus on me throughout the whole process.

Rebonding
When I was young, I alway tied my hair resulting a band round my hair. Therefore I had to rebond twice a year. Scarlett knows I prefer a natural look, so she will avoid applying the rebond cream to the roots. For my hair texture, after rebonding it will be easier for me to maintain.

Colour
I got myself a new hair colour "Purple Red" as recommend by Scarlett. I do not like coloring it red as it will fade very fast and colour will change to I so called "Ah Lian Yellow", black root is very obvious too when it fade. The colour outcome was not too bad, but as I alway wash my hair twice a day, colour is fading very soon, not sure whether it can last till Chinese New Year.

C Curl
Perming at the bottom of my hair to create C curl look. I was so happy to see the C curl after the end, as this is what I alway wanted. Too bad, I'm lousy at hair setting. Till now I can't blow and comb out the C curl Scarlett had done for me. Got to practise more.

Olaplex Treatment
Added in the Olaplex hair treatment to pamper my hair after so many chemicals. Hair bonds are broken during thermal, mechanical and chemical services. Olaplex treatment allows to rebuild the strength and structure. Can't feel anything after this treatment, maybe it's because I done too much in a day. Might try this treatment again when I visit the salon the next round.

Total damages was about S$640+, forgot the actual price. I'm holding a Edge card which I am entitle 25% on hair services. This time round I top-up S$1080, as the value was running low. I was given a free conditioner and Olaplex treatment to use at home.

Lastly there was no Chinese New Year surcharge for me.

Tick...Tock...Tick...Tock...
Another year has ended.

This year my minds are always flashing back on my past and how I wish I can just turn back the time. There are many things I did not hold onto and now I really regret. There is no one to blame but myself.

Stepping into a brand new year, I hope I can achieve what I want and what I plan to do. It's not easy but I'm not young anymore and I got to make up for the loss.

A brand new year means a brand new start.
I know I can do it.
